At the event, the 2023 "Blue Book of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology and Standardization" (hereinafter referred to as the "Blue Book") was officially released. This "Blue Book" is sponsored by China Electronics Standardization Institute, Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing Zhixin Microelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., Gaoxing Zhilian Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Avenue IoT Technology Co., Ltd., Juxin Internet of Things Laboratory (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Xunjie Wireless Technology Co., Ltd., Huada Hengxin Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association, etcXiamen Innoer Information Technology Co., Ltd. and other units jointly compiled.

At the meeting site, Wang Wenfeng, deputy director and senior engineer of the Internet of Things Research Center of China Electronics Standardization Institute, Geng Li, deputy director and senior engineer of the Perception Technology Office of the Internet of Things Research Center of China Electronics Standardization Institute, Yang Weiqi, founder of IoT Media and executive chairman of Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association, Dr. Wang Honggang, head of the intelligent perception and information processing research team of the School of Communication and Information Engineering of our university, Shi Chunlei, general manager of Shenzhen Quanshunhong Technology Co., Ltd., Xu Jinpeng, general manager of Guangzhou Commandlink Internet of Things Technology Co., Ltd., jointly released the 2023 "Blue Book of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology and Standardization". The "Blue Book" introduces the details of relevant international and domestic standardization organizations and standards, and puts forward detailed suggestions for RFID standardization work, which will effectively promote the healthy and rapid development of RFID industry norms. Dr. Wang Honggang, who is deeply involved in the field of RFID technology, said that the Internet of Things industry has been explored by the academia for many years, and the technology has been relatively mature, and the improvement of technical standards is a key issue to be solved to promote the rapid development of the industry.

The "Blue Book" starts from the aspects related to RFID-related policies, technologies, applications, standards, etc., analyzes trends, analyzes needs, introduces relevant international and domestic standardization organizations and standards, and puts forward detailed suggestions for future RFID standardization work. The release of the "Blue Book" will effectively promote the standardization of the entire RFID industry and promote the healthy and orderly development of the industry.
